Pasayahan

For the fourth consecutive year, M.Lhuillier once again participated in the annual celebration of Pasayahan sa Lucena with this year's theme  "Bonggang Bongga sa Lucena 2010".  It was a week long celebration that formally kicked-off last May 22, 2010 and ended May 28, 2010.  Initiated by Pasayahan Executive Committee, lots of activities and contests were lined-up in order to make the event more meaningful and grandiose for the people of Lucena and its neighboring towns. To name a few, they had this Chami (local noodle delicacy) eating contest where the contestant who eats seven kilos of Chami in the fastest time possible is declared the winner.  This was participated in by different organized private and civic groups in Lucena. A bazaar was also put in place along the city-streets so that people were given a chance to go shopping for different mementos as souvenirs. The evenings were lit up by live band performances of groups from Metro Manila as they rocked every block with their sizzling performances. The major event that spectators waited for was the Grand Float Parade competition where M.Lhuillier took part and gave to the people a variety of ML giveaways.  M.Lhuilier float was made up of artificial flowers, pots, native pamaypay, bilao with Chami inspired design alongside the maskara or mask at the front, we also had this Globe concept placed on the top of the float with ML Kwarta Padala and M.Lhuillier  encircling the globe to send a message to the public that our company is going Global not only because of our remittance partners but also because of our desire to operate internationally.

We also believe that with regular participation in events like this, our company will be able to continually impart our corporate message that M.Lhuillier cares and that with M.Lhuillier, may magandang mangyayari.
