by M. Lhuillier Marketing

Hailed as the most awaited event in Pulilan, Bulacan, the Carabao Festival drew visitors from nearby towns and provinces alike to witness the May 14 celebration.  This festival, held in honor of the patron saint of the farmers, San Isidro Labrador, is meant to secure through their faith a whole year of protection for their crops and an eventual bountiful harvest.

The carabao, as the centerpiece of every float, provided enjoyment to those watching the parade.  The parade route this year was intentionally shortened by the organizers because of last year’s experience of a disoriented carabao that went berserk.  Amusingly, this year’s set of “local buffalos?were at their best in conduct and form.

This year’s float parade, which M.Lhuillier joined, was also participated in by both private and government entities.  Local management and staff seized the opportunity to promote the company’s services and products by handing out flyers and corporate give-aways to the delighted crowd.
