In 1992, Amparito Lhuillier opened the first M. Lhuillier Jewellers showroom at Crest Condominium in Maria Luisa Park, Banilad, Cebu. The following year, SM City mall opened in Cebu. The showroom was transferred to the SM mall in order to reach out to people from all walks of life.
